Rooibos with jasmine, infused with the delicate and soothing essence of Jasminum Officinale, offers a truly remarkable blend that is perfect for relaxation. Rooibos, also known as red bush tea, is a naturally caffeine-free herbal tea derived from the Aspalathus linearis plant, native to South Africa. It is renowned for its numerous health benefits and rich, earthy flavour.
When combined with the fragrant blossoms of Jasminum Officinale, a species of jasmine renowned for its aromatic qualities, this fusion creates a harmonious infusion that promotes tranquillity and serenity.
Directions of use:
- Pour boiling water into a cup, add one bag of tea and let it steep for 2-5 minutes or boil the tea on the stove for 2-5 minutes.
- Drink as is, preferably without milk and sugar.
- Can be enjoyed cold, especially on a hot summer’s day. However, ensure that you keep the tea in the fridge for no longer than 48 hours.
- Not recommended for children younger than 6 months.
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women need to consult their healthcare practitioner before drinking Rooibos & Jasmine tea.

THE ANNIQUE STORY
Annique’s Rooibos story started in 1968 Dr Annique Theron stumbled across the natural healing powers of the South African herb, Rooibos, when she warmed Lorinda, her allergic baby’s bottle with warm Rooibos tea. For the first time since birth, Lorinda slept through the night and her allergic reactions to even mother’s milk calmed down.
The Founding Mother of Rooibos: Dr Annique Theron
Dr Theron considered that the Rooibos tea she had given her daughter could be the only factor to have caused this change and so she began to investigate her theory. Despite facing many challenges as a woman trying to prove her findings, she set out with a vision to create life-changing opportunities for all.
In 1971 Annekie Theron Ondernemings (Pty) Ltd was established. Dr Annique’s desire to help others is evident from her first product – the Annique Wonder Slim or as it is now known, the Annique Rooibos Lifestyle Shake formula. In 1973, Dr Annique launched her first three skin care products, with the star product being the Annique Revitalising Cream, which is still a bestseller to this day.
